Make n' Take: Creating Contemporary Clay Bead Jewlery
Class Description: Learn how to shape and decorate your own polymer clay beads in this workshop. Polymer clay is a simple and versatile art medium that is used in an array of crafts. Polymer clay is very easy to work with, making it perfect for beginners and all age levels. This workshop will cover several techniques for hand-shaping beads, as well as mixing your own polymer clay colors and applying them in patterns to create contemporary designs. Each participant will receive enough materials to create a five bead necklace, or you can choose to branch off and make whatever youd like.
Jasmine McMasters is an artist and maker residing in Milwaukee. She is a co-founder of After School Special, a studio/gallery collective in Riverwest, and an active fine artist.
