An active performer throughout the region and former keyboardist for the Salisbury, NC-based Ashley Jo Farmer Band, Chris is the Academy Director for the Jordan Academy for the Performing Arts in Apex, NC. Under his direction, the Jordan Academy has operated at capacity since its inception in 2009. Chris was a 2011 nominee for the Maxine Swalin Teaching Excellence Award, awarded annually by the North Carolina Symphony Orchestra to music educators for excellence in music teaching.
