Bus Tour: Elmhurst Neighborhoods: a survey of how the city developed over time
Join us as we learn about the history of different neighborhoods throughout Elmhurst, beginning with the 1870s when people built homes to escape post-fire Chicago. Learn how different developers invested in the city as reflected by the diverse eras of 20th century development. The tour will be led by EHMs own curator of collections, Nancy Wilson, whose vast knowledge will add to the depth of this tour!
