A growing, yet little-known fact: Karma Bar and Grill is home to the best underground comedy showcase in the city. A comedian-run, independently-produced show that started with a couple of funny guys with a microphone and has grown into a full-fledged professional comedy extravaganza. We showcase only the best and brightest; from new, local up-and-coming comics to nationally-touring headliners, The Milwaukee Stand-Up Comedy Showcase is a hidden jewel soon to be a household name.
The Milwaukee Stand-Up Comedy Showcase is the cornerstone of the Milwaukee comedy scene. This show demonstrates what underground comedy is all about; hard-working, unique comedians that are often overlooked by comedy clubs. Edgy, smart and original comedy by local, regional and nationally touring comedians.
This is a show created for comics by comics so we put the laughter first. We're not after your wallets, we're after your funny bone. Our show takes place at Karma bar n' grill (AKA The Laugh Trench), which is known for its elegant atmosphere and gourmet food. Every show we have a new line-up of comedians giving it their all come share a night of laughs with us.
