FACT/SF Counterfeit Cotillion

Join FACT/SF for our fun and fancy fundraising fête! Wear your tailcoats, tiaras, prom gowns, flapper dresses, faux fur, vintage couture, bolo ties with matching 10-gallon hats - it's all encouraged.

Hosted at the Joe Goode Annex in San Francisco's Mission District, the FACT/SF Counterfeit Cotillion is the sparkling gem of our season. Grab a tea sandwich and some champagne punch, and rub elbows with our fabulous family of fans, friends, and fellow artists.

Your ticket includes complimentary hors d'oeuvres and libations, pop-up performances by FACT/SF, a kickin' silent auction, tons of raffle items, a free waltz lesson, and much more.

All funds raised will go towards supporting FACT/SF's 2017 season - including 2 world premieres, an Eastern European Tour, numerous educational opportunities for local dancers, and equitable wages for our artists.

About FACT/SF:
FACT/SF, a San Francisco-based contemporary dance company, has quickly gathered support and recognition for its work. Our mission is to provide artists and administrators with jobs while frequently presenting aesthetically sophisticated and rigorously crafted performances for diverse audiences. Since 2008, we have performed 29 new works in more than 100 local performances for thousands of audience members, while providing paid work for 74 artists, administrators, and technicians. FACT/SF annually produces 2-3 new works, runs a commissioning program for local choreographers of promise, hosts frequent contemporary dance classes for local professionals and hobbyists, facilitates networking and community-building within the arts community, and ensures that performances are economically accessible to all. FACT/SF has toured across Russia on behalf of the US Department of State, and to Serbia, Bulgaria, Portland, Oregon, and throughout California. FACT/SF and Australia's Chunky Move are the only two Countertechnique-trained contemporary dance companies in the world.
