Please join us for a benefit reading for Marriage Equality USA (MEUSA) of the original screenplay "Nick and Nicky" by Patrick Askin.
"Nick and Nicky" is a modern day comedy and murder mystery inspired by the many classic Hollywood comedies of the 1930s. It invokes the sparkling, witty spirit of these films and recreates it in an upscale, modern day, gay setting.
The two main characters are an attractive gay couple who have returned to New York City in order to get married. However, they end up embarking on a crime solving adventure in the rarified world of the ultra wealthy, surrounded by an array of colorful supporting characters in both their personal and professional exploits.
