Magnolia Cajun Band at Lily Pads

Since 1989, Magnolia has been New England's hometown Cajun band. Learning their music from Louisiana's finest purveyor's of the form, has earned Magnolia a solid reputation at home and recognition in the Cajun heartland. Their dance lessons and music have helped build a strong sense of community at festivals and fais-do-do's (Cajun dance parties) all over the Northeast. Their monthly Saturday night dance has been New England's hottest ticket for more than twenty years! Playing high energy two steps and sultry waltzes, the band's twin fiddles, accordion, guitar, bass and of course, rich vocals keep audience members on their feet long into the night. Magnolia has won Motif Magazine's Folk Act of the Year in the Americana category.

We at Lily Pads are thrilled to finally be hosting what promises to be an excellent night of fun, music and dance. Come catch one of their last Northeast shows before they hit the road for Mardi Gras season. ds.
