Audiences can take the plunge with Vagabond Acting Troupe as the company journeys under the sea in their Honey Brook theater with a fall production of DISNEY"S THE LITTLE MERMAID JR., on October 25 and 26 at 7 p.m., October 28 at 2 p.m., and on Saturday, October 27, families can join the little mermaid herself at a Brunch at 11 a.m., followed by a 1 p.m. show. The production, part of the Music Theater International Broadway Junior Collection, is presented by students from the fall Musical Theater Workshop.
With lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, music by Alan Menkin and a book by Doug Wright, DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. is based on the original Hans Christian Andersen story, the amazing Disney film, and the spectacular 2008 Broadway production.
A special addition to this production is the Saturday morning brunch with the Little Mermaid which will feature members of the Showstoppers performance group as other familiar princesses. Children can mingle with the princesses, get their picture taken with her, while enjoying a meal before the show. Ticket price for both brunch and the show is just $15 plus a small service fee if ordered here in advance. Brunch and show tickets at the door are $20. Tickets for the production alone are $10 plus a smalls service fee on Brown Paper Tickets, or $15 at the door so it is recommended to order your tickets in advance for the special price here!
Four performances are scheduled, beginning Thursday, October 25 at 7 p.m. A 7 p.m. performance is also scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, October 26. The brunch show takes place on Saturday, October 27 with food and fun at 11 a.m. followed by the show at 1 p.m. Sunday's matinee, October 28, is at 2 p.m. at the Corner Arts Center,1080 North Manor Road, at the corner of Route 82 and Fairview in Honey Brook, PA.
