A hilarious, fun and provocative chat with author, Serena Andrews, about her book, Epic Fail Super Win. Together well explore crowdsourcing, interviews and field research as tools for curating a book, then tackle sections of the companion workbook as a personal writing assignment. Get ready to dive deep and reframe past failures for a transformative 2017 aimed at success!

About the Instructor: Serena Andrews is a multi-passionate artist, author and explorer living in St. Petersburg, FL, and working as a caricature artist at Universal Studios, Orlando. In 2012 she curated a book of interviews about creative careers called Epic Fail Super Win, and crowd funded a tour for the project. She spoke about the book at universities, retail spaces and organizations throughout the United States. She was an artist in residence at communities such as AS220 (Providence), Mariposa (Tijuana), as well as a guest teacher for schools like Center for Women & Enterprise, Times Squared Academy, The Urban Collaborative Accelerated Program, (Rhode Island), and Apple Retail Stores (NYC). Recently, Serena has become passionate about writing for screen and film, as well developing sustainable housing and community-based opportunities. She is collaborating with Venture House (St. Petersburg, FL), Heliotrope Foundations Konbit Shelter (Haiti), as well as God Bless You, Dr. Kevorkian - a Vonnegut screen adaptation - with Fountainhead Media (New York, NY). Under her personal moniker, Dream Siren, Andrews offers private coaching and teaches classes for business in the arts.
