Winter Wonderettes
Those wacky lovable Wonderettes are back for a musical holiday feast when they return to the Jewel Box Stage in "Winter Wonderettes", written by Roger Bean and directed by Sharon Greany.
This time the high school friends are asked to play at the annual Harper's Hardware Christmas party where Betty Jean works. The audience becomes the friends and family members of Harper's employees, and the girls sing nostalgic Christmas songs of the 1960s as they wait for Santa (Mr. Harper). But where is he and why are the Christmas Bonus envelopes pink?
Enjoy holiday songs from Brenda Lee, the Beach Boys, and Christmas around the world.
The show will run Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. from November 16December 8. Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. on November 18 & 25, December 2 & 9.
Tickets for Winter Wonderettes are $16 for adults, or $14 for seniors/students/military.
