Business Partnerships for Puget Sound
NBIS invites you to a special luncheon and workshop that will address urban impacts on our watersheds, showcase innovative solutions for mitigation of impacts, and celebrate the first Salmon-Safe certifications through NBIS' Urban Campus Salmon-Safe Initiative. These include the University of Washington Bothell/ Cascadia Community College; Washington Department of Ecology, Lacey; and the Port of Seattle Parks. The program will provide important information on the science of urban impacts on Puget Sound's waterways and aquatic habitats and provide examples of innovative management approaches and new technologies. Resources to assist companies and organizations in reducing impacts and improving stormwater and landscape management will also be presented. This program is part of NBIS Business Leaders Forum series and is co-sponsored by the Puget Sound Partnership, Belt Collins, Stewardship Partners and Salmon-Safe.
