Comedian Kevin Meaney will headline The Laugh Tour, a popular comedy series featuring top comics, as it returns to Jersey City on Saturday, November 3. The outrageous veteran of comedy had his first HBO special in 1986 and went on to appear over a dozen times on The Tonight Show. He will be joined for the 8 pm show by Giulia Rozzi and emcee Rich Kiamco. The event is presented by Art House Productions in its downtown Jersey City performance space, just off Hamilton Park.
"--I have had so much fun building The Laugh Tour over the last two years and watching how the audiences have grown," said Kiamco, founder of the series. "I'm thrilled to be able to have Kevin Meaney, he is a legend of comedy! An impressive talent."

He has been one of the country's most popular standup comedians for more than 25 years with his singular brand of comedy that includes acting out stories, musical flights of fancy and telling tales on the family. Tom Shales of the Washington Post said, "Picture the precocious love child of Jonathan Winters and Ethel Merman and you have some idea of Kevin Meaney's act." His first HBO special in 1986 catapulted him to the forefront of the comedy scene. Rich's comedy career began with a sewing machine while attending the Fashion Institute Of Technology. He began performing stand-up at campus events and then became the costume designer for comedian Judy Tenuta. He eventually began performing with Judy as her "love slave" backup dancer, appearing in venues across the country, in Las Vegas and on The Howard Stern Show and a he's never left the stage since. His one man show, Unaccessorized, received the Overall Excellence Award at NY International Fringe Festival and Best Solo Show at the Montreal GLBT International Theatre Festival. Rich has performed on campuses and venues across the USA, Canada, China and the Philippines. He is a frequent guest on Sirius XM Satellite Radio's OutQ: The Focus Group, was featured on BRAVO's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and co-hosted WeTV's 3 Men And A Chick Flick. www.RichKiamco.com
