Blinded by Pressure - Ethics Case Study (IMA Mt. Rainier Chapter - February Presentation)
Join the Mt Rainier IMA Chapter on Wednesday, February for an engaging workshop based on the real-life case study of Diamond Foods. This two hour workshop qualifies for two hours of CPE, and fulfills the annual Ethics requirements for CMAs. Using scenario-based interactive exercises, you'll be able to recognize an ethical dilemma within an organization, identify improper departures from GAAP reporting as a means to improve reported results, recognize the appropriate ways to increase profits within GAAP and ethical guidelines, and identify an auditor's role and responsibility when faced with an ethical dilemma.
Parking at LaQuinta is free and the location is easily accessible off I-5 in Tacoma (exit 135 from either direction). This is open to everyone, IMA membership is not required, and new faces are always welcome.
