Red Molly Concert

Americana music trio Red Molly will perform January 19th, 2013 at the Anderson Valley Grange in Philo. Doors will open at 6:00pm, with music starting at 7:00pm. The Grange is located on Highway 128 in Philo (near mile marker 24.) Their music has been praised far and wide, and they've garnered local fans from their tour dates throughout northern California including audiences at the Kate Wolf Festival. Red Molly's latest album, Light in the Sky, has been praised for its "tick-tight arrangements, crystalline vocals and caramel harmonies"; the Boston Globe added "Red Molly creates an album with gorgeous a cappella ballads, bluegrass-tinged folk and a touch of jazzy western swing, all done up in Red Molly's trademark three-part harmonies, signature dobro licks and inventive arrangements." Opening for Red Molly will be local musician (and KZYX program host) Katherine Cole. This event will be a benefit concert, with all net proceeds going to support public and community radio station KZYX.
