Federico has the gift of snatching luck from those around him. He works by ending players' rolls in a casino built on a lava desert, owned by Sam, a Jewish Holocaust survivor. Challenging Sam, Federico is expelled from paradise and his gift is annulled by Sam. Years later Frederick believes he has found in Tomás, the only survivor of a plane crash, the instrument of his vengeance: to return to the Casino with someone as powerful as the God of Chance, to challenge him and take control of his fortune. The initiation begins in which both will have to pass a series of increasingly bizarre tests, betting on the fate of others. Everything is going fine until a cop obsessed with the death of his family in a car accident goes after Tomás y Federico with the intention of discovering the truth about this network of illegal gambling where death and luck mingle.
