Snap on 2&4 w/ 3rd Coast Vocals
On Friday, October 26, 8pm, NJW welcomes back the sensational 3rd Coast Vocals for a special Snap on 2&4 appearance.
Consisting of musical director/arranger Jeff Hall (tenor), Sandra Dudley (alto), Mark Stephens (bass), and Christina Watson (soprano), 3rd Coast Vocals is a four part vocal jazz ensemble that has thrilled local audiences with their tight harmonies and snappy arrangements. All four members are masterful solo singers, and together they form an ensemble of truly rare talent. The group released their debut CD, titled 3CV, at an event in the Jazz Cave last Fall, and we're now delighted to have them back for their first Snap appearance in 2 years.
The backing band for this show will include NJW Directors Lori Mechem (piano) and Roger Spencer (bass), as well as the great Duffy Jackson on drums and special guests!
The group will perform two sets, beginning at 8pm, and admission is $20 for adults / $10 Students with ID.
Advance purchase is highly recommended. Tickets go on sale Monday, October 15 at 10 am, online or by phone at 800-838-3006 (24/7) or at the Workshop, 615-242-5299. A small convenience charge is added to online or 800-number purchases.
Seating is reserved. Management will assign best available seating. If you have particular seating preferences we'll do our best to accommodate. Seating requests can be made online or by phone. (You can indicate a preference in the "Questionnaire" box when checking out.) Seating is a combination of 4-person tables and bar stools. SEE BELOW FOR A VENUE MAP. Parties of less than four may be seated at tables with other patrons.
Policies: The Jazz Cave is a BYOB establishment, with no alcohol or food service. You are free to bring alcoholic beverages and snacks. We sell soft drinks and bottled water. The Jazz Cave is a listening room, and we ask patrons to keep conversation to a minimum and silence cell phones.
