Song, by Toad's Second BAD FUN! - Woodpecker Wooliams, Viking Moses & the Ghost Wolf Crystal Toads!
Rather than having to bugger off at 10pm because of club nights we thought we'd try running a little later ourselves for a change, and thus was born Song, by Toad's BAD FUN!
Three bands, DJs until 1am and all in the vaults under St. John's Church at the foot of Lothian Road - one of Edinburgh's more atmospheric spaces.
The second episode is going to be headlined by a mysterious Scottish supergroup featuring members of James Yorkston & the Athletes, Broken Records, Sparrow and the Workshop, Meursault and, erm, Rob St. John. I am not giving you anymore details than that, but I'll try and let you find out more closer to the date.
Viking Moses is touring with a full band, and his relationship with Edinburgh's recent musical past makes him almost feel like a local band, and we will also be joined by the stunning Woodpecker Wooliams, signed to our pals Robot Elephant Records.
There will also be Cream Soda and Toad vs. Toad DJs until 1am. Yes, I know, you're welcome.
