Black Panther Collection Viewing & Presentation
Join the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council for a special opportunity to view and handle museum-quality Civil Rights Era photography and memorabilia from the collection of Shoreline resident Jerry Whiting.

Come hear from local art collector (and software designer by day) Jerry Whiting as he shares the story of how he began collecting the art of African American activists from the 1960-70s and his passion for this revolutionary period in American history.  Whiting recently donated more than 200 works from his private collection to the newly opened National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C.  While some of these works have already traveled to the museum, others are still in Whitings possession and available to be appreciated and admired at this private art viewing.

Event Schedule:
5:30pm  6pm: Meet & Greet/Viewing
6pm  7pm: Presentation by Jerry Whiting

Space is limited.
THIS EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO ARTS COUNCIL MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS.
Entry is $10. For guests 21 and over, ticket purchase will include one complimentary glass of wine.

If you are not currently a member but would like to attend this special event, join today at any level and we will send you the password to purchase tickets!
