US Air Force Band of the Golden West Ensemble TRAVIS BRASS
Travis Brass, one of the cornerstone ensembles of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, will present a free concert of patriotic and classical music at the Coolidge Performing Arts Center on Sunday, January 29th at 7 p.m. The quintet consists of two trumpets, a horn, a trombone, and a tuba. Travis Brass is based at Travis Air Force Base in the bay area and tours throughout California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona supporting our troops, honoring our veterans, and telling the air force story by entertaining the American public. In addition to supporting military ceremonies and presenting free concerts, Travis Brass invests much of their time preserving our American music heritage by educating the musicians of tomorrow. The quintet will be working with a variety of high school and college music students during their week-long tour of Southern Arizona.
