LIFELINES 2012 Letters from Famous People about their Favorite Poem
Conceived & directed by Gemma Whelan, this special poetry salon opens-up the conversation about world hunger. Each November we present a fresh version of the sharing, and partner with local food drives.
Lifelines is a collection of great poetry which was gathered by secondary school students, when they wrote to famous people, asking them what their favorite poem was and why. They then published the collection and raised funds for famine victims in developing countries.
Bring canned & dry goods for our food drive for Thanksgiving.
$15-20 suggested donation (sliding scale)
