Lightsaber 101
You've seen all the movies. You have all the merchandise. The last step: learning how to use the coolest weapon this side of Aldaaran: The Light Saber!
In this 3 hour workshop, firm up your battle skills and learn choreography inspired by Return of the Jedi! In this workshop, participants can learn the safe and exciting moves stunt coordinators use in the movies. This hands on workshop demystifies the illusion of violence and allows participants to get a behind the scenes look at their favorite fandom.
Join National Recognized Stage Combat Instructor (and Jedi of the First Order) Orion Couling, director of the hit show MacSith!
We will provide the practice sabers and the instruction as we guide new learners step by step through the basic principles of a lightsaber duel. By the end of the workshop they will be able to perform a short fight of their own and will walk away with the feeling that the Force truly is with them.
