Ensemble Vulpine Lupin In Concert
Founded in October 2011, this Chicago-based new music ensemble has two main objectives: to promote the vocal music of our times (written for chamber settings during the last 60 years), and to provide a space for young and emerging performers/composers to foster their skills in new music performance. Founded by singer Nina Dante and composers Pablo Chin and Edward Hamel, EVL is comprised of talented musicians dedicated to avant-garde performance and a wide-ranging repertoire. EVL is committed to commissioning new works to provide fertile ground for young musicians/composers to create cutting-edge musical techniques and styles. As part of the Latino Music Festival, this performance is designed to offer a glimpse at the new generation of Latin America's compositional voices.
