Using the Electric Drum Carder
This class covers the basics of operating the electric drum carder at the Astoria Fiber Arts Academy. Taking the class is a pre-requisite for renting the carder. At the end of the class, the student will have the ability to create bats suitable for spinning. The carder can handle various types of fiber which can be blended.
