Del Sol String Quartet presents "Tunes and Tannins"
The San Francisco based DEL SOL STRING QUARTET will present a program titled "Tunes & Tannins". Music and local wines will be paired and the ensemble, along with sommelier Nicole Bert will talk to the audience about how the pairing choices were made. Small-pours of the selected local wines will be available for purchase at a very reasonable price. This offers patrons an opportunity for "audience participation" that should be very enjoyable.
The DEL SOL QUARTET is known for their adventurous programing and for the kind of spontaneous excitement they bring to their performances. They have commissioned and premiered over 100 works from a diverse range of international composers of the course of their 25 year career.
