Objectives: 1. Explain the basic structure and function of the endocannabinoid system. 2. Describe at least 5 different phytocannabinoids and terpenoids 3. Describe at least four different methods of cannabis administration. 4. Discuss potential adverse drug reactions with cannabis 5. Describe safe dosage practices 6. Discuss potential drug-drug interactions ---------------------------------------------------------- Vendor Hour: 6:10 pm - 7:10 pm Ibrance-Understanding the Mechanism of Action and the Clinical Trial Data for the Treatment of HR+/HER2- Metastatic Breast Cancer
Speaker: Gary Comstock, MD Senior Director Breast Cancer, Pfizer Oncology Brief Description: Ibrance is a first-in-class approved oral CDK4/6 inhibitor for the treatment of HR+/HER2- advanced and metastatic breast cancer. Dr. Comstock will discuss the targeted mechanism of action along with data from the clinical trials where Ibrance was paired with letrozole (first line) and fulvestrant (later line) for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer. This will be a Medical-to-Medical discussion and not promotional in nature. Target Audience: Oncology Nurses (RNs, NPs, PAs) who are involved with the oral treatment of adult patients with advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
