The film follows Keiko, a young amateur sushi chef, living in the shadow of her father. Through his teachings, arcane sushi techniques and rituals are revealed and she eventually lands a position as sushi chef in a hotel. Chaos ensues among a slew of rich, spoiled businessmen who patronize the restaurant as the food begins to fight back. Will Keiko?s life be on the chopping block?
