It is easy to see how this film would be original, intriguing, humorous, and just plain wrong, but it's far less expected how it showcases Hjartarson's belief that by broaching taboo subjects you can get to the heart of the human experience. There are moments in this film that are profoundly sad, exploring loneliness, insecurity, and failure, and moments of such soul-lifting triumph, with affirmations of love, friendship, and the power of the human spirit, that you simply won't believe you've been so moved by one man's quest to acquire another man's penis.
