Our trustworthy friend, Wikipedia, describes the echo chamber as a metaphorical description of a situation in which information, ideas, or beliefs are amplified or reinforced by transmission and repetition inside an enclosed system, where different or competing views are censored, disallowed, or otherwise underrepresented. In the age of social media and self-imposed isolation, J. Lindsay Brown Dance is ready to break some bubbles. Out of the Echo Chamber enlightens and entertains by challenging the preconceived conventions and traditional artistic processes of Chicago's artists and audiences. This show gives voice to the overlooked, the unheard, and the forgotten, and presses the audienceand artiststo identify and disrupt their own status quo. There are many ways to break out of the echo chamber, and this one will be a blast. These performances are sponsored in part by Chicago DanzTheatre Ensemble and Performing Arts Limited.
