UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL: Conversations with an Actor Special Guest: Wilford Brimley
Hosted by the Stage Door, and curated by The Space Between Theatre Company, this ONE NIGHT ONLY opportunity engages an established actor in conversation about his craft.
Watch, listen, and engage, as members from The Space Between explore Mr. Brimleys path through acting and life, and experience his sojourn through stage and screen. Hear intimate tales of process and product, while enjoying the anecdotes from the set and the rehearsal process. Finally become part of the conversation as you engage Mr. Brimley in discussion about what its like to have BEEN THERE and DONE THAT.
ABOUT WILFORD BRIMLEY: Former Marine, WILFORD BRIMLEY, was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He first worked as a ranch hand, wrangler, and blacksmith. He began shoeing horses for films and television and began his acting career in the 1960s as a riding extra in Westerns. Mr. Brimley starred in many films including The China Syndrome, Cocoon I and II, The Thing, Crossfire Trail, Absence of Malice, Ewoks: The Battle For Endor, Hard Target, The Electric Horseman, High Road to China, End of the Line, The Stone Boy, Hotel New Hampshire, Country, Blood River, Brigham City,Tender Mercies, Brubaker, Borderline, Harry & Son, Last of the Dogmen, The Good Old Boys,The Firm and The Natural. Mr. Brimley also appeared on many television productions such as Seinfelds The Postmaster General, The Waltons, and Walker, Texas Ranger as well as the 1980s tv drama series Our House. Mr. Brimley has also done many commercials for Quaker Oats and Liberty Medical.
