Nickel City Cupcake 2012
Developed by Feed Your Soul and hosted by Bert Gambini, Nickel City Cupcake Challenge is a live, head-to-head baking competition featuring three of Western New York's most creative and talented cupcake artists, a team of professional judges, and a whole lot of fun for our audience!
Tickets for Nickel City Cupcake Challenge cost $29 each and will go on sale Monday, October 1st!
During Nickel City Cupcake Challenge, our hand-selected professional bakers will be given two challenges. The first is to show the judges their signature cupcake the audience will sample all three and cast a vote for their favorite, too! In the second challenge, bakers will compete to invent, bake, and decorate a cupcake using a secret ingredient before our live audience.
Our bakers were selected from a pool of challengers who submitted applications to our panel. Selected for their diversity and passion, the 2012 Nickel City Cupcake Challengers are:

*Kelly Audette from Fairy Cakes Cupcakery
We are confident that each baker will bring their own style, skill set, experience, and personality to the challenge, and that they will present our audience with an exhilarating and creative competition!
Special guest judges for this event include:
*Brian Donaghy, highly-awarded professional pastry chef and former two-time competitor on Food Network's "Cake Challenge"
*Alli Suriani, cupcake aficionado and part of the top blogging duo behind BuffaloEats.org

Nickel City Cupcake Challenge will be held at Artisan Kitchens & Baths, home of the Nickel City Chef series. In Artisan's stunning loft showroom, each artist and their assistant will work from one of Artisan's three $100,000 kitchens.
Audience members will enjoy sweet treats prepared by Nickel City Chef Adam Goetz of Sample, plus sample signature cupcakes from all three of the competing bakeries, and ice cream from Lake Effect Ice Cream.

*****Tickets purchasing is limited to six tickets per sale.
