Theatre UNO continues its commitment to student written original work with this dark comedy. Maggie is pregnant and wants to hang herself in a dingy motel. Andrew is looking to buy drugs, but opened the door to the wrong room. Frank, Maggie's demented Ex, is on a mission to get Maggie back. All bets are off as these people deal with their problemsoh yeah, and there's a guy on TV selling the American Dream. Go figure. Rated R for language
Performances will take place in the Lab Theatre in the UNO Performing Arts Center, and will run October 2nd through October 6th at 7:30pm, and Sunday October 7th at 2:30pm. Suicide In the Key Of Infomercial is one of UNO's official entries to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Directed by Timothy O'Neal and featuring an all-student cast: Kaitlyn Heckel (Maggie); Justin Bupp (Andrew); Matt Rigdon (Frank); Justin Guidroz (Infomercial Guy); Hunter Christopher (Man Next Door); Francisca Harold (Woman Next Door). This production also features the work of Kit Sternberger (Stage Manager); Kevin Griffith (Set Designer); Diane Baas (Lighting Designer); Anthonyka Ferdinand (Props Designer); Timothy O'Neal (Sound Design); Sarah Chatelain (Sound Assistant); Tony French (Costume Designer); Michael Krikorian (Fight Choreographer).
