Your eyes creak open as you become aware of a rooster, maybe two, crowing in the distance. You begin to be aware of your surroundings. At the same time, the distinct aroma of cooking bacon from your mom's kitchen is welcomed by your sense of smell; and the all too familiar words, "time to get up, breakfast is ready!" settle in.
