Spirit Award started out of the idea to make something that draws from Krautrock, Psychedelic, Surf, Post-Punk, and Pop influence, and try to mesh it into one cohesive thing.
Being a three piece, Spirit Award tries to do as much live to fill space, without the reliance of backing tracks.
Spirit Award cites influences from Can, Kraftwork, Marc Bolan, and New Order.
