Art of Hosting
Join us for an interactive day's journey into Participatory Leadership!
The Art of Hosting and Harvesting Conversations that Really Matter Fri, Nov 9 from 9am-4pm at UW-Madison Union South with national hosts Jerry Nagel and Tuesday Ryan-Hart
A new type of leadership is being called for in businesses, non-profit organizations, schools, communities and families. This style of leadership generates fresh thinking and creates a shared commitment to solving critical challenges in sustainable, inclusive ways.
We call this Participatory Leadership.
Most of the problems and issues we are facing today in our organizations and communities can only find creative & wise solutions in collaboration with others.
The Art of Hosting and harvesting conversations that matter is a participative approach used worldwide for leading, convening and engaging in conversations that cultivate mutual respect and create wise, long- term solutions for now and in the future.
In this highly interactive workshop, we will explore principles of group dynamics and the methods that activate collective intelligence. You will be introduced to and experience participatory approaches such as Open Space, World Café and Circle Way.
Who should attend? Leaders, managers, facilitators, teachers, parents, community builders, public officials, social innovators, young, emerging leaders, & anyone attracted to the call!
REGISTRATION: $75 (lunch not included)
