ASCE COPRI Seattle Chapter Monthly Dinner Meeting - Jan 25, 2017
Topic: The Importance of Trade to Washington State Description: Washington is the most trade dependent state, so trade policies impact us here more than any other part of the country. In this presentation well examine the top trade policy issues that have the ability to benefit Washington and provide updates on where they stand in 2017.
Speaker: Ashley Dutta Ashley Dutta is the Vice President of Policy & Communication of the Washington Council on International Trade (WCIT). In this role, she is responsible for implementing communication and advocacy campaigns on policies that will benefit Washington states workers and employers. Her past professional experience includes stints at the Washington State Department of Commerces International Trade Division, multiple nonprofits working on global development initiatives in India, a public relations firm, and the U.S. State Department. She has a Masters degree in international studies from the University of Washington Jackson School and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
