The St. Valentine's Day Massacre Murder Mystery
A Moonstone Theatre Company Comedy Murder Mystery
On February 14, 1929, St. Valentine's Day, five members of the North Side Gang were shot in a garage on Chicago's North Side. Two of the shooters were dressed as uniformed police officers, while the others wore suits, ties, overcoats and hats, according to witnesses.
The hit had been set up by Al Scarface Capone and carried out by, amongst others, Jack Machine Gun McGurn. The target had been George Bugs Moran, boss of the North Side Gang and bitter rival to Capone but he escaped. Machine Gun McGurn had set up an alibi with his girl friend Louise Rolfe who, because of this, became known as the Blonde Alibi
In our Comedy Murder Mystery version of the story, members of the rival gangs flee to Britain and, exactly one year after the Massacre, gang members and undercover police arrive at Hannahs Bistro.
As the evening progresses, secrets are revealed and tensions mount. During the evening someone dies, and it is down to one of the group to lead the investigation.
All the clues will be there to lead to the right conclusion, but will they be correctly deduced? The investigator, with the help of the other guests at Hannahs Bistro must get to the truth before the night is out!
