Hometown Hootenanny: Storytellers
Country and folk music is filled with songs that tell stories -- some poignant, some funny, all of them true to life. The Oct. 13 Hometown Hootenanny will be filled with those stories, performed by the Hometown Band and their guests.
The show is presented at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby in downtown Everett, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Get set to enjoy great story songs like "Don't Take the Girl," "Ol' Red" and "Cadillac Ranch," along with the masterful storytelling of bluesman extraordinaire (and Hootenanny favorite) Reggie Miles. Showcase artist Genna adds a woman's touch with "Suds in the Bucket" and the powerful "Where've You Been?"
Tickets for the Oct. 13 show are $16.50 for adults, $13 for seniors/students/military, and only $5 for kids 12 and under. Purchase tickets online at brownpapertickets.com or by calling the Everett Theatre at (425) 258-6766. The box office opens at 6:30 the day of the show.
The Hometown Hootenanny is a family-friendly event, presenting live music and a variety of entertainers in a classic venue in downtown Everett.
