Kat Simmons is a 30-year veteran of the international comedy club circuit. You may have seen her at The Improvs,The Comedy Store, Catch A Rising Star, or on the Comedy Channel, Foxs Comedy Tonight and Candid Camera. She has toured with The 3 Blonde Moms and won the eWomen Network's International Talent Contest.

Kat has a unique talent for combining physical comedy with real life situations that everyone can relate to. She has been favorably compared to the masters of the craft, Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett. You may recognize yourself in some of her material as she shares honestly with the audience as though they were all her long-time friends. She delights in bringing to the stage the very things most people keep a secret.

She has appeared with talents Tim Allen, Kevin Nealon, Kenny Rogers, Rob Schneider and the late, great legendary motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar. She was chosen as the closing performer for the California Women's Conference in Fresno this year, where she shared the stage with Lisa Ling.

Kat also teaches stand up comedy workshops. She loves to help people discover their authentic voice, and gives them the tools to use it with confidence. Her next class begins on March 1st, and will be held in the Comedy Club at The Carson Nugget.

She has recently added author to her list with the publication of her first book, "Kats Daily Cups, a collection of stories about children, animals, and inspiration. It was a labor of love, as her teenage daughter served as illustrator. Kat says "If you have to write a book to spend time with your teenager, so be it."
