In case you've never heard of the San Francisco Bay Area's hardest working girl in showbiz, here's a bit about Miss Dottie Lux!
She's a full time burlesque performer, producer and instructor. Dottie proudly produces SF's longest running WEEKLY burlesque show, RED HOTS BURLESQUE! She is also the producer of Burlesque Classes and has been seen in the New York Times, Museum of Sex, SF Chronicle, NBC, KOFY TV, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Bard and Mills College, NYU, and many more publications, festivals and venues.
Dottie is known for the absurdity she brings to burlesque and her ability to rule a room with a microphone or sway of her hips. She is a worker-owner at the newly co-op run THE STUD, the first gay venue in SF.
See http://www.RedHotsBurlesque.com for all this femme is up to! Catch her if you can!

What is Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School?
Since 2005, Dr. Sketchy's has been the name in alternative drawing. From illegal flashmobs to the Museum of Modern Art, Dr. Sketchy's has brought artists a rule-breaking cocktail of dames, drinking and drawing. Dr. Sketchy's branches draw in over a hundred cities around the globe, from Akron to Zagreb. Whether you're an artstar or a scribbling newbie, Dr. Sketchy's is the perfect place to get your fill of life-drawing.
Dr. Sketchy's is the brainchild of artist Molly Crabapple.
In San Francisco, we have a strong commitment to community. We believe that making art is about finding a great place to practice, with a community of like-minded folks. We celebrate our sometimes indescribable and important local culture. We get excited about our models and we hope that our excitement inspires the artists who attend.
