Tom Dixon Starting life as just a small town boy, Tom Dixon has become one of Nashville's rising stars, taking his explosive live show on the road and entertaining crowds everywhere he goes. Tom is currently part of the Taste of Nashville Tour, with many dates around the country, sharing a stage with such artists as Trailer Choir, LOCASH, Josh Thompson, The Cadillac Three, Love and Theft, Trent Tomlinson and more. On October 1, 2016, Tom was one of the featured artists on the main stage at the first ever Live Free Country Music Festival at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, NH along side Lee Brice, Joe Nichols, Parmalee and Dylan Scott. In the past, he has opened for such acts as Eric Church, The Zac Brown Band, Sugarland, Kip Moore, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Jana Kramer, Billy Currington, and more.
Tom was also named "Country Act of the Year" in the 2013 New England Music Awards and "2011 Entertainer of the Year" from the New England Country Music Organization (NECMO). In 2015, Tom was nominated for "Vocalist of the Year" and "Song of the Year" with the Nashville Universe Awards. Although he did not take either of these prizes home, he was asked to perform on the stage of the legendary Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, TN for the awards show and was met with rave reviews.
In the past 3 years, Tom has performed in 16 states including: Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Florida, Washington DC, and Georgia with notable performances at the Live Free Country Music Festival, Peck Fest, Taste of Nashville Tour, Meadowbrook Pavilion as well as many others.
Tom took his high energy show to Music City to concentrate on writing, recording and playing original music. For his first solo album "Kick Start This Party" he worked with Grammy nominated, Nashville producer Kent Wells and released the "Kick Start This Party" album. July 2015, Tom released his second solo album entitled "Wide Open Roads" released under the label of the Tate Music Group (TMG). Most recently, he has gone back on his own as an independent artist writing, performing on and producing his latest album, "Songwriter Unplugged". This album, released October 2016, is already being said to be Tom Dixon's best work yet!
