2nd Annual Paris, TX Stage Combat Workshop
Paris Community Theatre is proud to partner with National Recognized Stage Combat Instructor Orion Couling to bring you a workshop that packs a real punch. Learn broadsword choreography that makes up today's hottest games and features in shows like Game of Thrones! Fight like a stuntman in a world class workshop brought to your door step. Upon completion of this incredible weekend you will get a certificate to boost your resume or to show to your friends. This workshop will focus on the medieval broadsword, intro to whip cracking, tai chi and a few surprises to boot!
Orion Couling is the foremost youth stage combat instructor in the country. Under Dueling Arts International and his own company E.D.G.E. he has taught in countless workshops and has been the fight director in over 50 professional productions.
Stage Combat is a mixture of choreography and illusion. It teaches the participant about communication, humility and cooperation. By using these skills we can create heightened drama and powerful stories.
