Willow Bread Tray Basketry Course
Traditional willow basketry course covering all the techniques needed to produce a wider basket with handle holes, which you will take home at the end of the day.
Skills taught will include: 6,7,or 8 rod slath, pairing, staking up, upsetting and waling starting with butts, 3 rod waling, lifted handle holes, and rod border.
This course is brilliant for people who have been on a previous basketry course with me as the basket design is a bit different from my other one day basketry course, so new techniques are learnt and previous skills learnt can be consolidated...
It is also great for beginners who would like to make a lovely bread tray!
Please book 10 days in advance to allow me time to sort and soak the right amount of material.
Tea, herbal tea, and coffee provided. Please bring your own packed lunch.

If you have to cancel your place after the soaking time (10 days before the event) then refunds will no longer be available through Brown Paper Tickets as materials have already been purchased and prepared.
