Pathways 2006: Managing Student Behavior, A Workshop

This is a workshop for teachers, childcare workers, caregivers, consultants, parents, and anyone who works with children.
This intensive three-hour workshop is designed for anyone who works with children. Dr. Severe draws from his 30 years of experience to provide a presentation filled with stories, case studies, and humor. Learn a variety of practical skills that promote self-discipline and productive communication, as well as techniques for managing and correcting misbehavior. Learn what successful teachers and caregivers do to help children behave and feel good about themselves.
Dr. Severe authored the New York Times best-selling book, How To Behave So Your Children Will, Too! which has sold over 600,000 copies and has been translated into 21 languages. His second book, How To Behave So Your Preschooler Will, Too! was released in July, 2002.
Dr. Severe has appeared on more than 1,100 TV and radio talk shows, including Oprah, the View with Barbara Walters, the Today show, the CBS Early show, CNN's Your Health, The Learning Channel's program Teacher TV, MSNBC's Daytime, Fox Network's Fox on Family, NPR, and Seattle's NW Afternoon. Dr. Severe has provided parenting chats on America Online, Parent Soup, and Parents.com. In the past 25 years, he has conducted more than 1,200 workshops across the US for over 70,000 parents and teachers.
