New information (May 5):
Due to an amazing influx of registrations, Las Cruces UkeFest 2017 is sold out! We are still accepting registrations for Heidi Swedberg's Kids' Class, but everything else has been frozen. If you are already registered and didn't order a T-shirt, we will have extras available in sizes small through XL, so you can purchase one at the festival. Thank you to everyone who has registered and we apologize to those who wanted to sign up and couldn't.
------------
Las Cruces UkeFest 2017 is your opportunity to explore southern New Mexico while taking your ukulele skills to a higher level! This year's event features well-known and in-demand instructor/performers Jim and Liz Beloff (authors of The Daily Ukulele and other great books), Heidi Swedberg, Daniel Ward, and Danielle Ate The Sandwich. Bios and workshop details are on our website, www.lascrucesukefest.com.
The festival kicks off Friday, May 19, with an evening concert featuring all the instructors and the Las Cruces Ukes. All day Saturday will be filled with workshops, an included catered lunch, and an evening jam session led by Jim Beloff. Then round out your weekend with more workshops Sunday morning.
Las Cruces UkeFest takes place at the beautiful New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum. Our host hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn, just a mile away, where we'll also hold the Saturday evening jam session. Discounts are available at the hotel by asking for the Las Cruces UkeFest rate.
Las Cruces is less than an hour from El Paso International Airport (over the border in Texas) and sits at the crossroads of Interstates 10 and 25. While you're here, explore Las Cruces and nearby historic Old Mesilla, White Sands National Monument (the world's largest gypsum sand dunes are just 45 minutes away), the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument, and much more.
Come to Las Cruces UkeFest 2017 and take your ukulele playing to new heights!
