Arms Around Alameda

The Alameda Business Network (ABN) hosts its annual Arms around Alameda Fundraiser & Mixer Benefit for the Alameda Welfare Council, Alameda Food Bank, and Toys for Tots. This event supports and creates networks between local businesspeople and local charities. This year, enjoy live entertainment by DJ by the Bay, a delicious buffet - thanks to The Palacios Brothers - and a Silent Auction and Texas Raffle to raise generous contributions of cash, products, and services to benefit the Alameda Welfare Council.

The Alameda Welfare Council will divide proceeds among Alameda agencies that include Girl's Inc. of the Island City, Alameda Boys and Girls Club, Alameda Meals on Wheels, Alameda Family Services, Alameda Homeless Network, and Alameda Unified School District's CAL/Safe Program. Other beneficiaries include the Alameda Food Bank -- providing nutritionally balanced groceries to low-income Alameda residents - and Toys for Tots whose annual toy collection and distribution campaigns assures that less fortunate children throughout the United States experience holiday joy.
