Dramatic Short: Set in Guyana, The Seawall is the story of an older Guyanese woman, Marjorie, and her grandson Malachi who share a very special bond. After receiving a visa to live in United States with his mom whom he hadn't seen since he was a baby, 10-year old Malachi wrestles with leaving his Grandma and best friend behind, while thinking about a new life in America. Marjorie struggles to convince her grandson that life in America would be better as she deals with her own feelings of loneliness and abandonment in a country that she loves.
