Writers Bloc Presents Carlos Ruiz Zafón, author of The Shadow of the Wind
Carlos Ruiz Zafón's novels are epic love stories of Barcelona. They are bound by magic, intrigue and passion, and all have bookstores at their core. From his first novel, the fabulous and wonderful The Shadow of the Wind, to his new and third novel, The Prisoner of Heaven, Carlos Ruiz Zafón considers Barcelona's painful toll in the Spanish Revolution. It is through literature, through stories, and through the magic of bookstores that people can heal, can connect, and maintain their humanity.
