RENO, NV. Stacy Johnson and Greg Klino bring The Untamed to Brüka Theatre. Everyone has a story to tell. That idea is the basis for The Untamed. The show consists of ninety-nine all original short plays that are fast-paced, unrated, and entirely written by the cast. Featured within the cast are local writers Emily Skyle and Rachel Lopez, as well as local radio personality Ian Sorensen. The Untamed welcomes local comedians, actors, artists, and storytellers to collaborate and perform in a healthy and encouraging environment. Only thirty-three plays are performed each night, but in a random order determined by the audience. You choose the adventure!
The Untamed opens with a post-show opening night champagne reception and appetizers from the Wild River Grille on February 10, 2017. The show runs weekly Thursday through Sunday through February 18, 2017. Evening shows begin at 8:00 pm (Artist night is Wednesday February 15A, 2017. ALL TICKETS are $10 for Artist Night.) There is one Sunday matinee on February 12, 2017 beginning at 2:00 PM. The matinee is followed by a talk back with the company and our audience. The doors open a half an hour before curtain time. Suggested for ages 14 and up.
