+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Blacklite District: Blacklite District follows no rules. With sounds of everything from electronic, EDM and hip hop, to hard rock and alternative, the band truly stands out from the pack of what has becomes today's generic sounding "Active Rock". Formed in 2012 by Kyle Pfeiffer and Roman James, ages 12 and 11 respectively, the band grew organically in their local music scene through the years to come.
In May 2016, Blacklite District released "We Are The Danger" as the lead single from it's sophomore album To Whom It May Concern, which is set for release in Fall 2016. The music video for "We Are The Danger" premiered on VEVO on April 21, released to iTunes on May 3, and shipped to radio on May 10.
"The Struggle" was released as the lead single from To Whom It May Concern on August 23. The music video was premiered by Revolver Magazine. Two months later, the song broke into the Top 40 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Indicator chart, and garnered over a million stream across all the major platforms. This marked Blacklite District's highest mainstream charting in the last two years.
Message From Sylvia: In order to progress in life and music change is inevitable. The inexorable forces of change are what brought the members of Message From Sylvia (MFS) together. With former bandmates leaving to start families or moving on to other projects change happened with a simple phone call and fate began to run its course in the Summer of 2016. That phone call, facilitated by Nashville based Artist manager Erik Baker connected the Lopez-Smith Brothers (Dane, Isaac, and Zachary) formerly of First Decree with vocalist Matthew Nevitt from Echovalve & DoryDrive.
Message From Sylvias ultimate goal is to have their music reach as many people as possible around the world and for their music to inspire and encourage listeners. Becoming one of the biggest hard rock bands and a household name in the rock community drives them forward, and Heart of War promises to set them on their way. A full length album is in the finishing stages, with a projected release in the first quarter of 2017.
