Karen Marguth Quintet

Since the release of her eponymous jazz album in 2009, vocalist and educator Karen Marguth has been receiving rave reviews.

Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently living in Central California, Karen Marguth has been an active performer throughout her life. Her professional background includes teaching, instructional coaching, providing clinics for jazz vocalists and choirs, choreographing, directing and performing in regional theatres and international touring shows, singing in rock, funk, blues, Americana, and jazz bands, doing voice-overs and studio work. She has performed as a featured vocalist at jazz festivals throughout the United States and France.

Her 2015 album was selected by Jazz Critic Andy Gilbert as one of the best Jazz albums of the year. She is now set to release another CD and the evenings set lists will include tunes from the upcoming release, including originals and new arrangements not yet performed for a live audience.
